With the advent of the concept of maintaining copies of objects of Core RCM in Project RCM, the Archive functionality has become a legacy with v4.2 of the Governance Portal. Therefore, you will not see the Archive link in the Project section of any project. Going forward with v4.2, when you scope an entity to a project, a copy of the RCM sub-objects and records will be maintained in the Project RCM. This feature draws a line between the content of the Core RCM and the Project RCM. The whole process has been made so flexible that both Core RCM and Project RCM have been made independent.
The changes made to the Core RCM will not be reflected to the Project RCM and vice versa, unless otherwise synced. See Sync Project RCM with Core RCM
Note: What gets copied will depend on the project settings. For more information, see Project Settings.
The records in a Project scope will now be retained even if the corresponding objects in the Entity Hierarchy are deleted. The scoped objects will not be deleted simultaneously. The same applies for the core entity as well i.e. the copy of the entity in the project scope will be retained even if the core entity is deleted. The Team Members can now copy additional RCM sub-objects into the project scope. Previously, the additional RCM sub-objects added to the Core RCM used to get linked (not copied) to the project scope automatically. The linkages for the additional RCM sub-objects will also be copied to the project scope. For more information, see Entity Hierarchy.
