Notification templates allow you to configure the subject, header, footer, description and recipients for notification emails. Templates have been pre-created for all types of notification, but you can also create new templates for event-based and time-based notifications.
Batched Dispatch: Templates that send out notification emails for time-based and event-based notifications. You can use the pre-created notification templates or create your own custom template. Additionally, multiple events can be mapped to a single template, allowing you to send a single email with consolidated event information. You can also customize the email body text for each event. Event notifications are batched together per template, consolidated into a single email and sent out in mass according to a set interval.

The notification interval is set in the site settings page of the Governance Portal. For more information, see the Governance Portal Application Configuration Settings section in the administrative online help.
Immediate Dispatch: Static templates pre-created for ad-hoc and system/user notifications. Only one event can be used per template and no new templates can be created.
