Attachments

The Governance Portal allows users to upload attachments (files and/or URLs) to support analysis, testing, assessments and provide external references.

To support better management of attachments, the Governance Portal provides:

• The ability to create folders and sub-folders to organize and sort attachments
• File versioning
• Change history to track changes
• The ability to upload multiple files and/or URLs to a single object
• Bookmarking of attachments from one object to another
• The ability to copy attachments and folders and paste them in another object

Files and/or URLs can be attached to multiple objects throughout the Governance Portal, including:

• General documents
• Organizational unit & process documents
• Organizational unit & process library template documents
• Action plans
• Test plans
• Tasks
• Objectives
• Risks
• Controls
• Risk Event Categories
• Assessments
• Audits
• Work Papers
• Various audit forms (e.g. company information)
• Incidents and Impacts
