Link Processes to an Organizational Unit

1. Access the Organization Model from the entity hierarchy.
   1. Select the Default GRC context from the context menu.
   2. Click the GRC Register tab.
   3. Select Entity Hierarchy from the Frameworks group.

      

   4. Expand the Organizational Unit folder to view the list of organizations.

      

2. Click the name of the Organizational Unit, or right-click and select View Object.

   OR:

3. Right-click on the organization you wish to link, click Link Object and choose Process.

   

4. Click Edit in the Process Model section.

   

5. Select the check box next to the name of the process to be linked to the Organizational Unit.

   Note: Click Expand to view the process and select child processes.

6. Click Save.

   Notes: Selected processes are now linked to the organizational unit. Document formats can be attached at the organizational unit level or at the process level (see Select a Document format for an Organizational Unit and Select a Document Format for a Process for details). Risk control matrices can be created for each process (see Create a Risk Control Matrix for details). For more information on processes, see Manage Processes.
