Schedule a Project - Critical Path

Scheduling a project is a multi-step process within the IA Portal:

Schedule the Project

  1. Review the Project Plan
  2. Enter project name and key attributes

    Establish Project Scope

  3. Identify the organizations, processes, IT Applications, Projects and/or Policies and Procedures that will be included in the project

    Check Team Member Availability and Assign Resources

  4. Check the project scheduler for available team members (optional)
  5. Link specific users to the project

    Assign/Distribute plan hours to activities

  6. Check Project Activity Assignments
  7. Allocate plan hours to activities (optional)

    Identify Project Client

  8. Link specific project clients to the project based on the identified scope

    Manage the Project Schedule

  9. Track actual time and estimate time to complete
  10. Monitor and report on schedule and budgeted hours.
