Utilize Excel to Create Reports on Search Results

This functionality allows users to create graphical charts and reports based off of the data generated by searches executed in the Governance Portal. Utilizing Microsoft Excel pivot tables and charts, data results returned from a Portal search can be displayed visually providing an easy to read and understand dashboard summary of information. Each time the search is run, the graph or chart can be refreshed automatically, providing a visual picture of your data.

Note: In order to properly utilize this functionality, the user must have business application knowledge of Microsoft Excel, specifically the creation and manipulation of PivotTables and Pivot Charts for reporting purposes.
