Add Risks in the Project Workbench

During the evaluation process, the project team may determine there are missing risks that need to be added to the Project RCM to be documented and evaluated. Once added, they can be linked to other controls and tests within the RCM.

1. Access the project.
   1. Click the Project ribbon.
   2. Click Current.
   3. Click the project name.

      

2. Click the RCM Work Paper in the activity list.
3. Select an entity (organization, process, IT application, etc.) from the drop-down list.

   Note: You can add an unlinked risk directly from the RCM screen or click on any risk or objective and add a control from the selected form. Any risk added from a specific risk or objective will automatically be linked to that object.

4. Click Add RCM Object and select Risk from the drop-down menu

   

5. Enter the Risk Name and Description.

   Note: Do not utilize the following characters when entering information into Portal; & * % # @ ; / \ : , - or ~.

6. Select the In Scope Check box to put the control in scope.
7. Select a Control Design Effectiveness, Significance, Status and Type from the drop-down lists.
8. Enter any Comments, if necessary.
9. Click Save.
