Enable Status Sharing

The shared status option allows project teams to complete multiple levels of review on work papers by sharing a single status field located on the activity form. (See Review a Work Paper for more information). If you are upgrading from a previous version of the Governance Portal, the Assessor/Reviewer Status Sharing functionality is disabled by default. Users can enable this functionality from the IA Configuration page.

  1. Access the Project Configuration link by adding it manually via Ribbon Management.

  2. Select the Shared Status radio button to enable status sharing.
  3. Click Submit.

Once you have enabled status sharing, additional steps must be completed before you can facilitate multiple levels of project review. See Review a Work Paper for more information.

Note: Conversely, if you are using status sharing and wish to revert to separate statuses for activities and reviews, click the Separate Status radio button.
