Manage Contextual Information

Contextual information is information (e.g. thresholds, criticality etc.) that may change based on where the indicator is being measured. For example, the same indicator may be measured at a level 1 business unit and a level 3 business unit. However, the thresholds would likely be different based on the level at which the indicator is measured.

Contextual information also allows teams to establish the workflow for the indicator including assignment of roles that will be required to provide periodic measurements and the frequency with which measurements are required.

The contextual information established when defining the indicator establishes the default contextual information for the indicator when it is linked to a measurement point. This information can be changed for the indicator as it relates to each measurement point.
