Create a Workflow Template

  1. Access the Workflow Template list.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the name and description of the new workflow template.
  4. Select an object type from the drop-down list. Workflow tasks can be created for the following objects:
    • RCMs
    • Objectives
    • Risk Event Categories
    • Risks
    • Controls
    • Tests
    • Checklists
    • Document Groups

      Note: The object type selected will determine the options available for the task functions connected to the evaluation:

  5. Enter an event, if applicable

    Note: The event field is used when the workflow tasks are going to be triggered by an event, such as a change in a form field. For more information, see Event Driven Workflow.

  6. Click Save.

Note: When the new workflow template has been submitted to the Governance Portal, new attributes will appear on the screen, which allow you to add tasks and items to the workflow template.
