Assessment Management Engine

The Assessment Management Engine is an integrated assessment engine that allows you to conduct assessment and survey functions within the Governance Portal.

There are two types of assessments available in the Assessment Management module:

Standard Assessments

The most common type of assessment, standard assessments can facilitate a variety of use cases for your organization, including:

Standard Assessments provide a multitude of formats, styles and question types, providing you with the flexibility to create professional and dynamic survey material.

Note: See Create a Standard Assessment for more information on standard assessments

Object Based Assessments

Object based assessments utilize data directly from the Governance Portal as potential responses to the assessment. To provide context for responses, questions can be configured to pull in specified Portal data and update the data for the objects in the Governance Portal upon submission of the assessment. Any text, drop-down, or boolean (checkbox) field can be updated through object based assessments.

Object Based assessments can be used to update entity information (i.e. organization, process, information technology and project and event), risk information and evaluations, and RCM information and evaluations (i.e. risks, controls, objectives). By automating the evaluation process, object based assessments assist in creating a sustainable compliance method. Targeted questions are created, packaged, templated and deployed to the assessors and their responses are updated in the Governance Portal.
