Create Custom Page to Fit Reports in the Dashboard

Crystal Reports 13 viewer uses the size equal to the page size of the report in designer view. So, you will have to create a custom page size in WIndows and select that size in the Page Setup when designing the report in Crystal Reports Designer.

Create a Custom Paper Size In Windows

  1. Access the WIndows Printer screen:

    Windows 2000:

    • Click the Start menu and select Control Panel/Printers and Faxes.
    • Click on a printer in the list and select File/Server Properties from the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

    WIndows 7:

    • Click the Start menu, then Control Panel/View devices and printers.
    • Click a printer in the list then click Print server properties at the top of the screen.
  2. Select the Create New Form checkbox in the Forms tab of the Print Server Properties screen,
  3. Give the new page size a unique and descriptive name, such as '"Custom Dashboard" in the Form Name field.
  4. Select Metric as the unit of measurement and make both the width and height 4cm
  5. Click Save Form.
  6. Click the OK button to close the window.

Select the Paper Size in Your Report

  1. Open Crystal Report Designer and select File/Page Setup from the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
  2. In the Paper Size field, select the custom paper size you created in the previous step from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click OK.
